Ximena Rojas Murcia is a lawyer specializing in intellectual property law and business entertainment.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, specialist Industrial Property, Copyright and New Technologies of the Externado University of Colombia, and Master in Law (LL.M.) with specialization in Intellectual Property, Telecommunications and Entertainment at the University of California – The Angels.
He participated in the Program Managers of the Global Intellectual Property Academy of Intellectual Property (GIPA) the Patent and Trademark Office of the United States of America, and he took courses in Intellectual Property and Copyright of the Academy of the World Intellectual Property Organization - WIPO.
It advises on copyright and related National Television Authority. He was Advisor to the National Director of Copyright, and through its independent practice it has been legal adviser of musical artists, actors, and companies in the creative industries including music business, film, art and creative content in general, local and foreign.
He teaches the course "Business of Music" (undergraduate), and "Intellectual Property and Business of the Arts" (master's degree) University of the Andes, and teaching of the subject "Legal Aspects" Conservatory of Film at the National Film School (Bogotá). He has been a speaker and workshop leader at various venues and events in the music industry around Colombia.
He was consultant to the program Cultural Creative Industries and the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá.
